Hello! My name is Brittany Fisher and I am the Mental Health Practitioner at Centennial School. I offer support to children and families, both within and outside of the school setting.
These supports are aimed at providing early interventions and prevention initiatives within our school through the Integrated School Support Program (ISSP). We collaborate with community agencies to support students and families.
ABOUT ME
I am a strong advocate for families, children, and youth, and hold a wide knowledge of community and therapeutic supports.
I love learning and would be a 'forever student' if I could. I also love animals and am lucky to share my home with a dog named Panda and a cat named Marmalade.
WHAT IS THE INTEGRATED SCHOOL SUPPORT PROGRAM?
“The Integrated School Support Program (ISSP) is a child wellness initiative that is intended to provide essential services to address a variety of needs in diverse schools and communities. The goal is to improve academic performance and the social, emotional, and physical well-being of children ages 5-12. ISSP is a collaborative community initiative managed by the Calgary Police Youth Foundation.” - Calgary Police Youth Foundation.
The Integrated School Support Program is a voluntary program. We appreciate your participation, as the funding provided through this program allows for specialized support within our school.
